TERMS OF SERVICE
Effective date: 8 May 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of pausemark.shop ("the Site") and any purchase you make on it. By using the Site or placing an order, you accept these Terms.
OPERATOR
The Site is operated by Julien Denis ("Pausemark", "we", "us") from France. Contact: support@pausemark.shop. Full operator information is available on our Mentions Légales page.
ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your country) to place an order. By ordering you confirm you meet this requirement.
ORDERS AND PRICING
- All prices are displayed on the product page in your selected currency. Prices may include or exclude shipping and taxes; the cart and checkout will show the final total before payment.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order in case of obvious pricing error, suspected fraud, or stock issue. In that case you will be notified and refunded in full.
- Order confirmation by email constitutes acceptance of your order; the contract is formed at that point.
PAYMENT
Payment is processed at checkout via Shopify Payments / Stripe. We do not store your card details. All payments are encrypted via TLS.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
See our Shipping Policy. We ship internationally. Standard delivery is 10 to 15 business days. We are not liable for delivery delays caused by carriers, customs, or force majeure events outside our control.
WITHDRAWAL RIGHT (RIGHT OF RETURN)
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the product, without giving any reason, under Article L.221-18 of the French Code de la consommation.
To exercise this right, email support@pausemark.shop within 14 days of delivery, stating that you wish to withdraw. You then have 14 additional days to ship the product back. Return shipping cost is at your charge.
We will refund the full purchase price (including original shipping if applicable) within 14 days after receiving the returned product, using the same payment method as your original payment.
The product must be returned unused, in its original packaging, with all accessories.
LEGAL WARRANTIES (FOR EU CONSUMERS)
You benefit from the following legal warranties under French law, independent of any commercial guarantee we may offer:
- Legal warranty of conformity (Articles L.217-3 et seq. of the Code de la consommation): 2 years from delivery. If the product is not conform to its description, you may request repair, replacement, price reduction, or cancellation.
- Warranty against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the Code civil): 2 years from discovery of the defect, with possible cancellation or price reduction.
To invoke these warranties, contact support@pausemark.shop with a description of the issue and photos. We will respond within 5 business days.
COMMERCIAL GUARANTEE
Beyond legal warranties we offer a 30-day commercial return ("any reason") and a lifetime mechanical guarantee on the timer mechanism. See our Refund Policy for details.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
We do our best to ensure product descriptions, images, and specifications are accurate. Minor variations between the product photographed and the product delivered (color rendering, packaging revisions) may occur and are not grounds for return
outside the withdrawal right.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on the Site (text, images, logo, brand name PAUSEMARK, tagline "Mark The Pause.", product copy) is protected by copyright and trademark. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute content without our written permission.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the extent permitted by applicable law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product. We are not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit, or loss of data. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross
negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under French or EU law.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION
In case of dispute, we encourage you to contact us first at support@pausemark.shop. If we cannot reach an agreement, you may refer the dispute free of charge to a consumer mediator. The list of certified mediators is available at:

GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by French law. For consumers, mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence remain applicable.
CHANGES
We may update these Terms. The current version is always available at pausemark.shop/policies/terms-of-service. Orders placed before a change are governed by the version in force at the time of order.
